The SectionThe section Powertrain Control Strategy and Drivability (ENEO) develops functions and software to create world-class powertrain characteristics. We achieve this by ensuring the lowest possible energy consumption combined with the best possible performance and driveability for our vehicles.
What we doAs we move through the paradigm shift of electrification, autonomous and connected vehicles, it creates the need to accelerate our capabilities within state-of-the-art powertrain integration with autonomous systems and offboard applications. To do this we have created the value stream “Efficient Transport Functions” (ETF). Our mission is to help our customers reach their destination in the most efficient way possible, simply put you and the team will help customers maximize the value of the energy stored in the vehicle.
Your taskYou will manage the group ENEOA, Driving assistance software, and act as a coach for 2 highly competent agile teams within ETF with a focus on energy consumption estimations, range prediction for BEV vehicles, and execution of the route optimization. Our solutions require good vehicle and electrical powertrain knowledge but are also based on off-board capabilities such as map data or even weather information and its impact on energy consumption.
This and also the fact that we are in the transition of forming global VCT means you will build a large network within Scania and Traton. You will work within a new and innovative technical area that will broaden the value for our customers and accelerate the usage of heavy-duty electric vehicles.
