Lead Embedded & IoT Engineer - TSS

Do you want to take a leading technical role in the development of embedded systems and connected products? At TSS, you will help develop technology used by leading pharmaceutical companies worldwide to monitor temperature-sensitive medicines throughout the supply chain, ensuring they are stored and transported under the right conditions from production to the patient.

About the role

As Lead Embedded & IoT Engineer, you will take a key technical role in the continued development of TSS’s connected products. You will work end-to-end across TSS’s physical and connected products, from electronics, sensors and embedded firmware in the loggers to gateways, cloud integration and TSS applications.

The role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership and technical direction. You will help drive priorities, support the team in technical decisions and collaborate closely with other engineering functions and external partners. This is a senior individual contributor role where you lead through technical expertise and collaboration.

You will, among other things:

• Work with electronics, sensors, embedded firmware and connected devices.

• Drive technical decisions across hardware, firmware and connectivity.

• Contribute to the rollout of a new IoT gateway platform across TSS’s global gateway fleet.

• Work with verification, technical troubleshooting, failure analysis, industrialization and taking products into production.

• Support other engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

The role is based at TSS’s office in Solna, with a hybrid setup where the team typically works from the office 2–3 days per week.

About you

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong hands-on background in hardware, electronics and embedded systems, combined with experience from connected products or IoT.

You enjoy staying close to the technology, solving complex technical challenges and taking ownership across technical areas.

We believe you have:

• Embedded firmware and hardware/software integration experience.

• Experience with sensors, measurement devices or similar physical products.

• Experience taking products through verification and into production.

• Experience leading technical work, supporting engineering teams or driving complex engineering initiatives.

• A Master’s degree in engineering, electronics, embedded systems or a related technical field.

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Experience with BLE, USB, battery-powered products, Linux, IoT gateways, hardware manufacturing, product certification, production testing, calibration or regulated industries is a plus.
