Forward Deployed AI Engineering Intern

About the Job
We are looking for two Forward Deployed AI Engineering Interns to join our tech development team. You will get the opportunity to build software used by financial institutions and gain hands-on experience working with real products, client data and users.

We are building the next generation of financial intelligence on Palantir Foundry, working side by side with Advisense’s regulatory specialists. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product owners and regulatory specialists, contributing across data, backend and frontend and taking on more complex work as you grow.

AI is an integral part of how we work. Claude Code, Codex and Foundry’s AI tooling are part of our working day, while AI is also embedded in the products we build. During the internship, you will learn how to use AI effectively and responsibly while understanding, validating and testing the code you produce.

As part of our tech development team, you will:

• Contribute to production modules across data, backend and frontend.

• Build and improve APIs, data pipelines, integrations and user interfaces.

• Help turn financial and regulatory requirements into useful and correct product features.

• Explore and implement AI-enabled workflows with guidance from experienced engineers.

• Take part in client implementations together with a senior engineer.

• Learn to test, deploy, monitor and maintain production software.

• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions and product development from discovery through release.

Background and Experience

• Programming experience in both Python and TypeScript, from academic, professional, personal or open-source work.

• At least one application or substantial software project you have built.

• Interest in working across frontend, backend, data and AI.

• An eye for clear and useful user experiences.

• Curiosity about AI-enabled applications and AI-assisted development.

• Willingness to understand, test and take responsibility for the code you produce.

• A collaborative approach and openness to feedback.

• Professional proficiency in English. Swedish is appreciated but not required.

Experience with Palantir Foundry, cloud platforms, AI tools, financial services or regulated data is beneficial but not required.

Who you are
We are looking for someone at the beginning of their engineering career with strong foundations, curiosity and a genuine interest in building software. We do not expect you to arrive as a complete engineer – what matters is that you enjoy solving problems, learn quickly and are motivated to develop across different parts of the technology stack.

You are curious about AI and want to learn how to use it effectively and responsibly in software development. You enjoy collaborating with others, are open to feedback and are motivated to take on more ownership as your experience grows.

You will join a small, collaborative development team where experienced engineers provide technical guidance and support. During the internship, you will gain hands-on experience across the full product stack, work with software used by real financial institutions and gradually take on more ownership as your experience grows.

This is a 12-month paid internship based in Stockholm, with two positions available.
