About the role
As Head of Credit and Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing our credit origination, underwriting, and credit risk management processes. You will lead operational improvements, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and drive business growth through data-driven decision making.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing credit and operations team, fostering a collaborative culture
Oversee credit origination, underwriting, independent credit decisions, and credit risk management
Ensure compliance with Finnish financial regulations while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
Support business growth through strong KPI focus and contribute to the launch and development of Finnish mortgage products
Who we’re looking for:
Extensive experience in loan origination and underwriting, preferably within Finnish mortgages
Strong knowledge of Finnish mortgage products, credit risk management, data analysis, and relevant regulations
Proven track record of independent credit decisions and leadership experience
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building businesses or teams from the ground up
Fluency in Finnish and English
