We are strengthening our organization by recruiting a Public Affairs Manager for our Commercial Operations team!

Do you want to influence how Sweden and Denmark approach the treatment of opioid dependence? This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, navigating decision-making environments, and driving initiatives from idea to implementation.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company that is pioneering long-acting treatment options for opioid dependence in Sweden and Denmark. In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to meaningful change for patients while helping shape the future of treatment access and healthcare policy in an area of significant societal importance.

You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders – primarily in Sweden but also in Denmark – including relevant health authorities and stakeholder organizations in Sweden (e.g. Socialstyrelsen, Läkemedelsverket, SKR, Kriminalvården) and Denmark (e.g. Lægemiddelstyrelsen, Kriminalforsorgen).

Some PA strategies are already in place, giving you a solid foundation to build from – while still leaving room for your own initiatives and tactical adjustments.

The role sits at the heart of our commercial organization and reports to the Country Lead Sweden & Denmark.

The Role:

• Establish and develop high-impact relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders at national, regional, and local levels to drive measurable progress on patient access

• Drive public affairs initiatives and advocacy work within opioid dependence – with potential expansion into oncology

• Drive concrete policy and structural changes that expand patient access to treatment, through targeted advocacy and strategic stakeholder engagement

• Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to refine PA strategies

• Work closely with the sales organization to align commercial and public affairs priorities
  

Your Profile:

• Experience from public affairs, market access, policy work, stakeholder engagement, or other roles involving dialogue with decision-makers and external stakeholders within Life Science

• Understanding of how policy, healthcare systems, and decision-making processes influence patient access to treatment

• Experience of driving change, influencing structures, processes, or policies through collaboration with stakeholders and decision-makers is highly valued

• Understanding of the Swedish healthcare and regulatory landscape – knowledge of the Danish system is a plus

• A self-driven and proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership and building relationships across complex stakeholder environments

• Valid driving license

• Fluent in Swedish and English; Danish is a plus
