We are now looking for a Azure Infrastructure Service Manager
 
The Azure Infrastructure Service Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, operational stability, lifecycle management, governance, and continuous improvement of Azure infrastructure services.

The role ensures that Azure infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, cost-efficient, well-documented, and aligned with business, application, and security requirements.

The role combines a solid understanding of Azure infrastructure with service management accountability. It ensures that Azure infrastructure services are delivered through clear ownership, defined processes, measurable service performance, effective documentation, and strong collaboration across IT, security, application teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.


 
Your main tasks will be: 

• Own and manage Azure infrastructure services, including service quality, availability, performance, security, compliance, lifecycle, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure stable and secure operation of Azure networking, core infrastructure resources, platform services, monitoring, logging, observability, secrets management, and automation.
• Drive continuous improvement of Azure infrastructure services, including standardization, automation, governance, cost optimization, operational maturity, and service reporting.
• Manage Azure infrastructure delivery through structured DevOps and GitOps practices, including repositories, pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and controlled change processes.
• Define, maintain, and follow service management processes for incidents, problems, changes, service requests, documentation, and operational handovers.
• Collaborate closely with the security team to ensure Azure security controls, policies, identity, secrets, logging, and compliance requirements are implemented and maintained.
• Act as the main point of contact for Azure infrastructure service questions, escalations, priorities, risks, and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure agreed service levels, operational expectations, and delivery commitments are met.
• Support budgeting, purchasing, license management.

Kvalifikationer

To succeed in this position, we believe you have Solid experience of (all or most):

• Solid experience in Azure infrastructure management, operations, governance, and lifecycle management.

• Good understanding of IT service management practices, including incident, problem, change, request, lifecycle, and vendor management.

• Experience with Azure networking, Azure policies, Azure PaaS services, monitoring, logging, and observability.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitOps, repositories, pipelines, controlled deployments, and Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Bicep.

• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, secure development lifecycle practices, identity, access, secrets management, and compliance requirements.

• Ability to translate technical platform needs into service requirements, operational processes, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

• Experience with cost management, license follow-up, supplier coordination, and budget input within a cloud or infrastructure environment.

• Strong planning, prioritization, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently while coordinating activities across internal teams, suppliers, security, and application stakeholders.

• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting or similar automation technologies is beneficial.

• We expect you to have at least 6 years of experience in similar roles.
