About the role
As Financial Controller, you hold overall responsibility for the finance function in Sweden. The role is broad and business-oriented, covering financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. You will play a key role in supporting the business with financial insight, investment analysis, and decision-making support that drives performance and long-term development.

You will work in an international environment with many cross-border contacts and a high level of exposure to group functions. The role also includes personnel responsibility and active involvement in developing finance processes, ways of working, and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and follow-up
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Manage cash flow planning and working capital
• Ensure control over project accounting, inventory, and manufacturing costs
• Prepare financial analysis, investment cases, and decision support
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
• Develop processes, routines, and financial systems

About you

• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Solid experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management
• Proven experience in financial closing, reporting, budgeting, and analysis
• Experience from an international environment or group structure
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English

Preferred qualifications

• Experience from manufacturing or project-based industrial environments
• Experience with project accounting and cost control
• Experience working in international group structures
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central
