Hedin Business Center is looking for a Business Controller

Hedin Business Center provides professional and devoted support to our Import Operations including Hedin US Motor, the exclusive importer and distributor of the Ford F-150 in Europe - Hedin Adventure Car - the official distributor of INEOS Grenadier across 11 markets in Europe, Hedin Premium Car - the importer of the prestigious brand Hongqi in 6 markets in Europe and Hedin Distribution AG/SK/CZ - the official distributor of XPENG in Switzerland, Slovakia and Czech Republic.


Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a Business Controller to further accelerate our operations across Europe. You will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic decision-making of the various brands within our portfolio. Furthermore, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, monitoring performance and providing insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency. You will be welcomed by a positive team in a forward-thinking and fast-growing company. The position will be located in our attractive new office space in Mölndal and you will report to our CFO & Head of Business Center.

You have a Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent and several (5+) years of work experience in controlling, financial analysis or similar roles. To thrive in the role as Business Controller, it is important that you are comfortable with ownership and responsibility. You are structured, analytical and always deliver timely and accurately. Furthermore, you are a team player who is also used to work independently. We believe you are an outgoing person who finds it both exciting and stimulating to meet new people, have fun at work and enjoy working in an ever-changing environment with high demands.

Your key areas of responsibility:

  • Business Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze business performance by evaluating financial data and key business metrics, ensuring that targets are met.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and manage annual Budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning. Analyze Budget deviations and provide actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.

  • Reporting: Deliver regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Cost Control: Monitor and evaluate operational expenses, identify areas for cost reduction, and recommend measures to enhance profitability.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    - Support commercial decision-making through pricing analysis, campaign evaluation, and margin optimization
    - Support market initiatives, including business case development and performance tracking for new initiatives and channels

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting systems to drive efficiency and enhance data integrity.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive profitability through pricing strategies, margin analysis, campaign follow-up, and business case evaluation across multiple brands or product lines.

  • understanding of end-to-end value chains, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and dealer/distribution networks, with the ability to identify risks and optimization opportunities.

  • Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making through data-driven insights and challenging the business constructively.

  • Advanced analytical capabilities and strong experience working with ERP and BI tools (e.g. SAP, Business Central, Power BI), with a focus on automation, data quality, and scalable reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
