Finance Lead - Circular Parts Platform

Om denna position
Join Scania Ventures & New Business

Scania Ventures & New Business builds new digital ventures that accelerate Scania’s transformation toward sustainable transport. The Circular Parts Platform is one of these ventures — a digital ecosystem connecting heavy truck workshops and vehicle dismantling companies to enable the reuse of high-quality spare parts.

We are now seeking a Finance Lead to join the core team of this new venture, working alongside the Venture Lead (Managing Director), Growth and Commercial Business Lead  –, and Tech Lead. Together, you will shape, launch, and scale a business that combines sustainability with profitability.

Your Mission

As Finance Lead, you will take full ownership of the financial management and performance of the Circular Parts Platform. You will ensure strong financial control, develop key financial KPIs and lead both short-term business case tracking and long-term financial planning.

You will design and maintain the financial model, including pricing, revenue streams, payment logic, and cost structures, ensuring that the venture operates with both agility and accountability. In addition, you will play a key role in evaluating and supporting potential M&A opportunities, partnerships, and investments as the venture expands its ecosystem footprint.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented, and venture-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
•    Develop and own the venture’s financial model and business case, ensuring alignment with Scania’s strategic and financial frameworks
•    Define and oversee pricing models, payment logic, and revenue mechanisms together with the Venture Business Lead and the Growth and Commercial Business Lead
•    Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring transparency and control.
•    Establish and track financial KPIs, driving performance and profitability.
•    Support investment analysis and funding strategy, including M&A assessments and financial due diligence.
•    Collaborate with internal Scania teams on reporting, governance, and compliance.
•    Partner closely with the Venture Lead on long-term financial strategy and scaling initiatives.
•    Provide financial insight and decision support across the core venture team.
•    As a member of the management team of the venture, shape the venture’s overall success, actively taking part in decision-making

Who You Are

You are a finance professional who combines analytical depth with strategic business thinking. You’re motivated by the challenge of building something new — from business model to market growth — and thrive on working closely with business and technology peers to make it happen.

Your Background
•    University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
•    7+ years of experience in financial management in a start-up environment, venture finance, or business control, preferably within digital, SaaS, or platform-driven businesses
•    Proven track record in financial modeling, budgeting, and investment analysis.

Experience with payment systems, revenue operations, and transactional models is a strong plus.
•    Exposure to M&A processes, including valuation, due diligence, or integration, is highly desirable.
•    Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-moving, innovation-driven contexts.

Fluent in English and Swedish, additional languages is an advantage

Your Personal Traits
•    Analytical and structured with a proactive mindset.
•    Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.
•    Communicative and collaborative — skilled at turning financial insights into strategic actions.
•    Curious, adaptable, and motivated by sustainability and innovation.

Why Join Us

•    Be part of the core leadership team shaping a new digital venture within Scania’s innovation ecosystem.
•    Influence both strategic direction and financial outcomes from day one.
•    Work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment combining startup agility with Scania’s industrial strength.
•    Contribute to circularity and sustainability by enabling smarter resource use in the transport industry.
