Your new position as Service Manager at Mycronic
We are now looking for an experienced IT Service Manager to lead and continuously improve our Cybersecurity Defense Center (CDC) services. This role is critical in ensuring that cybersecurity services are delivered with high quality, aligned with business objectives, and adapted to an evolving threat landscape.
As IT Service Manager for the CDC, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity defense services across the Mycronic Group. You will lead a skilled team of cybersecurity specialists (externally sourced) and work closely with IT, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure proactive and effective cyber defense.
The IT Service Manager – CDC also owns the operational and service delivery responsibility for Mycronic’s cybersecurity defense capabilities. The role ensures 24/7 protection, efficient incident handling, and continuous service improvement while maintaining strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
You own and develop the service delivery strategy in alignment with business objectives and the evolving cyber threat landscape, and you oversee incident detection, response, and remediation to ensure timely and effective resolution. A key part of the role is driving continuous service improvements through the use of established best practices, automation, and modern security technologies.
The IT Service Manager works in close collaboration with IT, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for reporting service performance, KPIs, risks, and incidents to senior management.
As a leader, you develop the capabilities of the CDC team. This position involves close cooperation with the IT Service Management team, application managers, business stakeholders, other IT Service Managers, as well as external cybersecurity vendors, partners, and industry forums to stay ahead of emerging threats.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
Proven experience managing cybersecurity services in a SOC/CDC environment
Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership or service management role
Strong understanding of SOC/CDC processes, threat intelligence, and incident management frameworks (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
Solid knowledge of cybersecurity tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience working with IT service management frameworks, preferably ITIL 4
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL are highly desirable
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
