​WHAT YOU’LL DO​ 
Do what you love and help us drive change! As a Senior Data Scientist at H&M Group, you’ll turn vast amounts of data into meaningful insights and solutions that make an impact on a global scale. You’ll collaborate closely with business and tech teams to solve complex problems using advanced analytics, modelling, and machine learning.​ 

• Contribute to and potentially lead the short- and long-term data science agenda within a product team 

• Collaborate with machine learning and data engineers to design, build, and deploy machine learning products that scale globally 

• Help colleagues and stakeholders understand algorithms and decisions made by AI systems 

• Explore large, complex data assets to uncover insights that drive business value 

• Develop tools and frameworks for common machine learning needs like model traceability, feature reuse, and A/B testing 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH​ 

You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team of highly skilled engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders. Together, you’ll build innovative AI solutions that support H&M Group’s transformation and create value for millions of customers worldwide.

WHO YOU ARE​ 

We are looking for people with…​ 

• ​ A degree in applied mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or a similar field (e.g., machine learning) and a strong desire to keep learning 

• Solid foundational knowledge of machine learning and statistics 

• Ability to independently implement algorithms and models, contributing to production-level code 

• Background in agile environments with strong team collaboration and data-driven development 

• Experience working with time series data is beneficial 

• Proven ability to work with production-level machine learning systems and solid understanding of optimization problems, including related libraries or solvers

• Comfortable working with cloud platforms, like Google Cloud 

• Hands-on and eager to understand business needs and turn them into technical solutions 

• Always looking for ways to automate and simplify, taking initiative to improve products 

• Strong team players who are result-oriented and driven to challenge and innovate
