Software Test Lead - Embedded SW for Industrial Solutions

Your role

As a Software Test Lead, you take ownership of planning, coordinating, and improving testing activities to ensure high-quality software releases. You define and maintain test strategies, lead regression efforts, and provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights to support decision-making. In this role, you also drive continuous improvements of test processes and metrics, working closely with the Team Manager, other Test Leads, and testers to foster a culture of quality and collaboration.

You report to the Team Manager Software Test Office.

Main acitities:

• Maintain and continuously improve the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Lead and coordinate both manual and automated regression testing to achieve comprehensive coverage
• Define and implement meaningful quality metrics and reporting standards for stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and other test leads to align requirements and test coverage
• Drive enhancements in testing processes and strategies across teams
• Ensure automated regression tests are integrated and executed within the CI pipeline
• Mentor testers and advocate best practices in testing and quality assurance

To succeed, you will need

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and test management
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to organize, drive initiatives, and deliver results
• Familiarity with tools such as Jama (or similar requirements management systems) and Jira
• Hands-on experience with automated regression testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments
• Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Agile methodologies, and experience in improving test processes and strategies

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Stockholm, Sweden (SE).
