NOBA Bank Group is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our Treasury department, where you will play a key role in ensuring our regulatory compliance and supporting our diverse funding operations.

About the role

As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will report to the Head of Regulatory Reporting and Capital Management. You will be part of our regulatory reporting team, where, together with four colleagues, you ensure that NOBA meets all requirements regarding regulatory reporting. Among other things, you will analyze and implement regulatory changes, streamline processes, and ensure that regulatory reporting maintains the highest quality.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze how regulatory changes and new products impact the bank’s regulatory reporting and ensure that changes are documented and implemented to guarantee regulatory compliance.

  • Interpret regulations and directives such as CRR/CRD IV and the Swedish FSA’s regulations.

  • Analyze and control data used and required for COREP and FINREP reporting.

  • Validate reporting templates (XBRL) according to EBA’s applicable taxonomy rules and other regulatory reporting within Treasury’s area of responsibility.

  • Develop and streamline the regulatory reporting process, for example through increased integration with the bank’s Treasury system MORS and the bank’s common data warehouse using Excel/Python/SQL.

  • Participate in preparation of the Pillar 3 report and the external financial reporting.

Who we are looking for

To succeed in this role, it is important that you have a structured and analytical approach and are skilled at planning your work. You thrive in an environment where the pace is sometimes high and priorities change, and are therefore both adaptable and proactive. Furthermore, you collaborate and communicate easily with colleagues from different parts of the organization. In addition, we are looking for someone who:

  • Speaks and writes fluently in English, preferably Swedish as well

  • Holds a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Engineering, or equivalent

  • Has at least two year of experience with COREP or FINREP regulatory reporting

  • Has a good understanding of capital and liquidity coverage as well as financial reporting

  • Possesses excellent skills in Excel and other Windows applications

It is a great advantage if you have:

  • Experience working with systems such as SQL, Power BI, Python, MORS

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.

The position is full-time.
