Job description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will step into a dynamic and varied role. You’ll be the technical ambassador for our advanced pharmaceutical machinery, traveling across Sweden and the Nordics to ensure our customers’ equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Your work will take you from high-tech manufacturing environments to specialized labs, where you’ll tackle challenging technical issues and develop strong partnerships with both customers and colleagues.

When you’re not traveling, you’ll typically work from home, providing remote technical support, preparing documentation, planning upcoming service visits, and following up with customers. You’ll start your journey with immersive, hands-on training at our German headquarters, learning directly from the experts who design and build our machines.

• Installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of complex technical equipment for the pharmaceutical industry
• Troubleshoot, diagnosis and repair of machine faults and breakdowns
• Implement modifications, new products, and formats into existing equipment
• Identify ways that the machine can be improved
• Provide customer training and production support
• Provide customers with remote technical support

Your profile
You are a flexible, open-minded, and positive person who thrives in a dynamic environment. You have a strong technical curiosity and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, always eager to learn and tackle new challenges. Building trust and maintaining excellent communication with customers and colleagues comes naturally to you. You understand what it means to travel extensively (around 200 days) for work and are prepared for the lifestyle and commitment this requires. You enjoy working as part of an international team, collaborating across borders and sharing knowledge with colleagues in both Sweden and Germany.

• Solid mechatronic background; able to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Experience in machine building, installation, and maintenance of production equipment
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Technical education or equivalent practical experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering
• Experience with 3D CAD systems is meritorious
• A valid driver’s license is required, and a background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process
• Excellent English skills is required; German and Swedish is a plus
