Do you want to play a key role and contribute to one of SEB's most unique modernization projects? Our Cash Ledger is at the heart of the bank, handling our core transactions. As part of future-proofing the bank we are re-building the platform. You will play an important part in making our new Cash Ledger meet both technical and business requirements from a performance perspective

About the role:

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and quality, driven by understanding complex systems and improving their performance. You will join the NCL End to End test team within the New Cash Ledger (NCL) initiative. You will focus on performance testing the New Cash Ledger as well as the E2E flows.

As a performance test engineer, your responsibilities will include:

- Planning, designing, and executing performance and load tests for applications and integrations.

- Setting up and maintaining test environments, test data, tools, and measurement methods.

- Analysing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

- Collaborating with architects, development teams and operations

- Establishing routines and guidelines for performance testing

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Several years of experience in performance and load testing in large IT environments with backend running on Mainframe.
Strong knowledge of tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter
Experience in analyzing results using logs and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk or Grafana
Understanding of networks, databases (SQL), APIs, mainframe and batches
Basic knowledge of a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Bash)
Strong knowledge of the banking or insurance sector is meritorious
