Software Engineer to our Credit Platform team

Join our Credit Platform team, where we empower internal stakeholders with the tools and services needed to perform thorough, compliant, and efficient credit assessments. Our mission is to support responsible lending, minimize risk, and enable scalable credit decisioning across the organisation.

Get an idea of the role

We are now looking for a Software Engineer who thrives on complex problem-solving and wants to play a key role in developing and scaling our core services for automatic credit and fraud decision-making.

As a Software Engineer in our team, you will:

🚀 Be part of an agile product team that values quality, fast feedback, and continuous improvement

⚙️ Work primarily with backend development, using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Postgres/MongoDB, GitHub, Elastic and AWS

📦 Build and enhance scalable services and APIs that support automated and compliant credit assessments

🧠 Contribute to architectural design, helping shape a robust and adaptable credit platform

🤝 Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, from Consumer Loans and Retail Finance to B2B, analytics teams, and Customer Care to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient credit solutions to real business problems

On a personal level

Minimum requirements

✓ Backend is your primary focus

✓ Great personal drive and curiosity to Software Development

✓ Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud

✓ Experience in REST API design and security

✓ Excited about leveraging AI in your daily coding work

✓ You know how to do local development efficiently using Docker

Meriting skills

✓ Understanding of OAuth/JWT authentication, and data privacy

✓ Comfortable working with services in Kubernetes and/or Serverless on AWS

✓ Experience or interest in related frontend work using TypeScript and React

✓ Enjoy PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ

✓ You champion having a great CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions and workflows
