PR & Communications Intern

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious person to join Polestar’s Global PR and Corporate Communications team in our HQ in Gothenburg, for a 10-month, full-time internship, starting December 2025. This internship will give you the opportunity to learn and gain exposure within a global PR & Corporate Communications team, in a fast paced, dynamic organisation! 

The opportunity

As a part of the Global Corporate Communications and PR team, the internship will provide a rich experience as you will support across various functions and get to be hands on support in different projects. You will be part of a strong and supportive team and belong to a multicultural organization where every individual is valuable. 

What you’ll do

As a PR and Communication Intern, you will provide support in a variety of matters.

For example, your responsibilities will include:

• Writing and producing texts, e.g. award entries, articles (both for internal and external communication) social media posts, and press releases Support with administration and CMS tasks for the Corporate Communications team

• Coordination for global speaking opportunities

• Monitoring global media enquiries

• Provide hands-on support for PR and internal events

• Support with Design and Sustainability-communications strategy and execution

• Support with creative PR activations

Who you are

We are looking for a driven and service-minded star, who is passionate about communication and topics concerning innovation, design and sustainability. You can operate in a fast-paced environment where you can showcase your organizational and writing skills.

To be a great fit for this position we consider it is important that you have:

• Academic or practical experience in the field of PR and communications

• Very good level of English language, written and spoken

• An understanding for branding, PR and communications

• Experience working with film and video editing is a plus

• Availability for 10 months

• Experience with CMS platforms and social media content creation is a strong plus and differentiator
