Your Trainee position and your team

As a junior Transformation Lead, you will:
• Be responsible – together with the Senior Transformation lead – to support the Non-Financial Risk Management team in the merge of AirPlus into the SEB Card Group for the areas of Information & Cyber Security, Financial Crime & Risk Prevention, Credit Operations, and to support the First line risk management team throughout the SEB Card Group
• Report directly to the Head of Non-Financial Risk Nordic and work closely with Transformation Leads and Business Developers in the other divisions across the bank, dependent on the various projects you lead
• Lead various business development initiatives and support managers in driving transformation, with the practice of transformative leadership
• Be part of AI and Automation initiatives as digitalization will be important for certain projects
Simultaneously by working in the role you are being recruited to, you will participate in SEB's International Trainee Programme for nine months. It will give you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the financial industry and be professionally and personally challenged.
As part of the programme, you can expect to: contribute to meaningful projects, work on communication and leadership skills, do rotations in other teams across the bank, participate in a business challenge and do an international internship at another SEB site in the world.

To thrive in this role and in the International Trainee programme, we believe you have:
• Graduated within the past two years, or will graduate before the programme starts on 1st September 2026 – from a relevant academic degree
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to take ownership
• Excellent communication skills and to be able to work in English
We also believe you are:
• A team player, with a customer-focused and positive attitude – you will often collaborate across functions and with different stakeholders
• Independent, take initiative as well as you enjoy working in a complex or fast-paced environment
Previous experience (part-time work, life abroad etc.) and involvement during your studies are advantageous but what matters most is your potential and passion.

Our recruitment process
We want to get to know you, and for you to get to know us.
The recruitment process includes:
- Psychometric tests
- Interviews – digitally and/or on-site
- A case exercise and presentation
- SEB Day – an event to learn more about SEB and the programme, with insights from former trainees
Please be aware that our final candidates undergo background checks, a process that includes for example identity control, verification of qualifications, credit checks, company engagements and history of crime. In some cases, we also apply random drug checks.
