QEHS Manager - Kvibille

"As a QEHS Manager, you will be responsible for a total of 4 direct reports. Through your daily leadership, you will ensure that safety first always is on top of the agenda and goes hand in hand with food safety, quality and environmental considerations. You will also be part of a dynamic, innovative, and energetic management group at Kvibille dairy, home of Kvibille Cheddar and Kvibille Ädel cheese.” Says Site Director Ole Nyborg Riis

How you will make an impact
As QEHS Manager, your task will be to lead and develop the team so that we become even better at solving challenges and finding the right solutions regarding safety, food safety, quality and environmental aspects. With your inclusive leadership style, you will be responsible of ensuring that there is always a focus on a motivating work environment and wellbeing. Knowledge-sharing and development of employees' skills will become a natural part of your daily responsibilities.

Additionally, you will:

• Ensure that the site complies with applicable legislation, standards, policies and customer requirements related to QEHS area, including maintaining certificated standards.
• Anchor and role model a lean/safety/quality/food safety/continuous development culture on site.
• Manage, develop, train and coach colleagues and other stakeholders in QEHS.

• Have close collaboration and a wide range of contacts with colleagues across Kvibille dairy regarding, among others, communicating regulatory requirements, standards, and customer needs.
• Have close collaboration with Arla's central QEHS organization and be part of the QEHS management network for Sweden and Finland.
• Assist management in identifying the causes of safety and quality challenges and take responsibility for developing and implementing solution models.

You enjoy interacting with colleagues at all levels of the organization, so your good collaboration skills can flourish. You look at things from an holistic view, and you have established structured ways of working with a strong follow up. You identify opportunities and strive for continuous improvement together with your team. You get motivated by finding ways to improve how we work, and you are most proud when your team thrives.

Additionally, we expect you to:

• Have an education in food chemistry/technology, microbiology or environmental technology.

• Have a background within the food, pharmaceutical or other relevant industries.
• Have solid experience in food safety, such as HACCP, food safety culture, etc.
• Hold solid experience of structured problem solving, change management and LEAN.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to stand firm when required.
• Strong verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English.
