System Specialist - PLC

Your role

Are you passionate about system setup, hands-on technical work, and collaborating closely with customers in automation and feeder system?

AEC Nordic (Swedweld) is looking for a System Specialist - PLC to join our team and grow into an expert on our Feeder system. As our System Specialist - PLC, you will play a key role in configuring, supporting, and implementing our Feeder systems to meet customer requirements. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Feeder Configuration – Setting up our feeders using Codesys software (Turck PLC) and Siemens PLC, ensuring systems are configured according to project requirements.
  • Customer Interaction – Collaborating directly with customers to understand their system setup needs for Feeder and Tightening projects.
  • Customer Support – Playing an active role during installation and commissioning, ensuring customers experience smooth implementation and optimal system performance.
  • Service & Troubleshooting – Contributing to problem-solving efforts and providing technical support for ongoing operations.
  • Internal Collaboration – Analysing requests, providing solutions, and supporting colleagues in system setup to strengthen team capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Production System Setup – Hands-on involvement in assembling, testing, and configuring feeders in our production facility before delivery, ensuring each system meets the highest quality standards.

To succeed, you will need

  • Experience in PLC programming and electrical set up skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in Automation projects.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and identify the best solutions for complex systems.

Job location

Based in Värnamo, Southern Sweden, this role offers the opportunity to work on innovative automation projects and support our customers in achieving optimal system performance.

Some travel is required to succeed in this mission.
