Electrical & Pneumatic Design engineer

Your role

Are you passionate and skilled in electricity and have the ability to make electrician drawings as well as pneumatic and collaborating closely with customers in automation?

AEC Nordic (Swedweld) is looking for a Electrical & Pneumatic Design engineer, to join our team and grow into an expert on our Feeder system. As our Electrical & Pneumatic Design engineer, you will play a key role in configuring, supporting, and implementing our Feeder systems to meet customer requirements, when it comes to Electrical design.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Electrician drawings – Support internally as well as our Customer with Electrician drawings. We are working in the software E-Plan as platform for the design.
  • Customer Interaction – Collaborating directly with customers to understand their system setup needs for Feeder and Tightening projects, regards to electrician components
  • Customer Support – Be part of our support to customers and in some cases join our team in the commissioning phase of our systems.
  • Service & Troubleshooting – Contributing to problem-solving efforts and providing technical support for ongoing operations.
  • Internal Collaboration – Analysing requests, providing solutions, and supporting colleagues in system setup to strengthen team capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Production System Setup – Hands-on involvement in assembling, testing, and configuring feeders in our production facility before delivery, ensuring each system meets the highest quality standards.

To succeed, you will need

  • Electrician design skills and experience to make electrical design and drawings.
  • It is beneficial if you have experience of E-Plan or/and P-Plan in the Electrically or Pneumatic design.
  • Knowledge and experience in Automation projects.
  • Analytic and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and identify the best solutions for complex systems.

Based in Värnamo, Southern Sweden, this role offers the opportunity to work on innovative automation projects and support our customers in achieving optimal system performance.

Some travel is required to succeed in this mission.
