About the role:

We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver and delivery focused person who takes ownership of her/his work, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to learn and share insights with others.

You have a true test mindset and experience in software quality assurance or a related field. And you’re willing to work with different test automation tools and learn new test automation frameworks.

You will join the NCL End to End test team within the New Cash Ledger (NCL) initiative. You will focus on End-to-End test automation and regression tests for the account products to be released. You will work in a Cross-Functional Agile team, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver high-priority flows.

As a Test Automation engineer, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for New Cash Ledger related production flows. Utilize tools and methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient execution.
Work and collaborate with your team colleagues to understand requirements and define test plans, implement, and maintain full-flow automated tests.
Assist development teams and testers in following test automation processes to ensure that long-term strategies and best practices are implemented.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and document test outcomes. Identify and report defects and work with development teams to facilitatetimely resolution.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test processes, scripts, and results.
Manage and enhance Continuous Integration (CI) processes

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Extensive testing skills and deep knowledge of the test process
Experience with UI test automation (preferably Selenium Webdriver, WebdriverIO, Playwright)
Experience with a tool for API test automation (e.g. Ready API, RestSharp, Rest Assured)
SQL/database testing skills
Basic programming in C#, Java, or equivalent scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript)
Strong passion for QA with great attention to detail, automating processes and simplifying tasks
Interest in staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies within the area
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions

It is meritorious if you have:

Experience with test management tools and integrating them in Test Automation (Xray preferred)
Knowledge of CI integration tools (e.g. GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile principles, and testing methodologies
