German speaking Broker to Trading Desk

This is more than a milestone, it’s a chance to be a part of shaping something new from day one. We’re looking for a German speaking Broker to our Trading Desk team in Sweden to join us on this journey.

What the role includes

The trading desk is a central Nordic function supporting all Nordnet's markets.

You will become part of our dedicated stockbroking team, which currently consists of nine colleagues and many years of experience and expertise. What unites us is a genuine and deep interest in stocks and the capital market. As a German speaking Broker you will be the first one in the team supporting the German market and be able to make an big impact in this milestone! 

You will assist our customers with order placement, provide market information, and handle trading-related inquiries concerning the Nordic and European markets. You will primarily work with our new customer base in Germany but might also assist the rest of the team with the other Nordic Markets depending on work load in the team. 

The phone will be your primary work tool, and you are motivated speaking with both customers and professional counterparties. Since Nordnet offers a wide range of products, you will be trading in, for example, stocks, options, futures, bonds, mutual funds, and various ETPs.

Your profile and background

To thrive in this role, a high level of ambition, solid knowledge of securities market, and a strong interest in saving and investing are key qualities. You should have good knowledge of financial instruments and risk. 

It’s an advantage if you have experience working in customer service at another bank or in a similar industry. You likely have a university degree in economics/finance or equivalent. We believe that you have a big interest for German financial markets. 

As a person, you are humble, willing to pitch in where needed, and able to handle many different types of situations. You also have the ability to make quick decisions and prioritize matters in stressful situations. You are reliable and detail-oriented, and you approach your tasks in a proactive and structured way.

In addition to being fluent in German, you should be comfortable with both speaking and writing in English and Swedish.

We prefer that you already have a Swedsec license. If not, you will be required to obtain one within six months. If you are familiar with working in Infront or ABASEC that is also considered a plus.

About the position

This is a full-time, permanent position with a six-month probation period. Please note that the standard working hours at the trading desk are 08.30-17.30.

Start date of the role is during spring 2026.
