Legal Counsel - Resurs Bank

This is a varied role where you will combine deep legal expertise with a practical, solution-oriented approach. You will have the opportunity to drive initiatives and apply your expertise, directly influencing how we grow and evolve as an organisation.

As a Legal Counsel at Resurs, you will step into a role where law meets business impact in an entrepreneurial enviroment. As part of a dedicated Legal team of nine colleagues in the Nordics, you will collaborate closely with Product and Commercial to turn business ideas into compliant and customer-friendly solutions.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Advising the business on product- and commercial-related legal matters and drive issues forward.

• Contributing to projects such as launching new services, implementing regulatory requirements and exploring innovation areas like AI.

• Shaping efficient processes and ways of working within the Legal team and the organisation.

On a personal level

We are looking for a senior legal professional who thrives on the intersection of business and law. You are used to working in a regulated environment and know how to balance legal requirements with business needs. With a structured mindset and strong stakeholder management skills, you have the ability to drive issues forward, align perspectives and provide clear guidance.

We believe you bring:

• Proven, qualified legal experience - at least 10 years of which a minimum of 5 years in the financial sector.

• A Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a Swedish university.

• Experience from working with commercial and product-related matters in a regulated environment.

• Knowledge of general banking regulations, experience of payment services is an advantage.

• Structured way of working and strong analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, making legal topics accessible across the organisation.

• Fluency in both Swedish and English.
