Your mission at Sitoo

As a Security Engineer at Sitoo, you will be a key driver in safeguarding our Point of Sale and Unified Commerce Platform, ensuring we remain at the forefront of secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services. You will blend hands-on engineering with strategic leadership—setting security mandates, automating robust standards, and championing a distributed security model across our engineering organization.

As a key driver, you will lead by example and influence through knowledge-sharing, working closely with our teams to elevate security practices across the organization. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts and mentor others will be essential for building a security-minded culture throughout Sitoo.

What you will do

Build robust and secure cloud solutions.
Manage our multi-account AWS environment with IaC, implementing security, compliance, and automation to enable teams to deploy workloads securely and independently.
Provide expertise in authentication and authorization (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML), and guiding teams to implement secure, scalable, and robust access solutions
Enable automated vulnerability scanning, threat detection, and compliance checks, integrating security into CI/CD and AI development workflows.
Promote a culture of shared security ownership by delivering training, clear guidance, and best practices, empowering teams to make independent, security-conscious decisions.

What you’ll bring to the table

Strong hands-on server-side development experience and experience in building scalable, reliable and secure cloud services in AWS.
You confidently interact with individuals, teams and organizations to make sure they are informed, to be able to keep them accountable.
Professional English, both verbal and written.
