Business Controller

Right now, we need to strengthen our Controlling team with a Business Controller who will focus on supporting the product- and enabler departments in the organisation.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you will closely collaborate with several parts of the business, acting as a financial partner to the organisation, overseeing cost management, ensure accurate monthly closings and drive process improvement to enhance efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in the organisation and be a key player in the Business Controlling team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Closely collaborate with the product organisation, proactively supporting the business to ensure accurate and reliable financial processes.
• Ownership of cost follow-up for several large departments and driving to improve the process over time.
• Supporting in all financial aspects including monthly and quarterly reporting in accordance with company’s guidelines and timetable, budgets, forecasts and ad-hoc analysis.
• You will be a key player in the Budget and Forecast process.
• Responsible for Tooling & Product development costs from a financial point of view, as well as performing CAPEX analysis and fixed asset management.
• Various Financial projects and ad-hoc tasks to support the business.
• Work to improve processes related to area of responsibility, as well as participating in controlling related projects.

Who we’re looking for:

You are a proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented Business Controller with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are a team player and creative problem solver who is comfortable taking initiatives. We believe that you have a great understanding of accounting and cost control.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

• Highly skilled professional with a Business/Finance university degree and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position within an international company
• Strong business mind with a solid accounting knowledge and an analytical mind as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to analyse, compare and interpret facts quickly with good understanding for numbers.
• Strong Excel skills and system oriented, preferably with Microsoft Navision and Qlik Sense experience or similar ERP & BI tools.
