SUPPLY PLANNER SNICKERS WORKWEAR

As Supply Planner at Snickers Workwear you will be part of a customer focused Planning & Purchasing team responsible for providing excellent service to our Sales Organisations and direct customers yet to a balanced stock level. We work closely with the Production & Sourcing Team to create a transparent, efficient and effective value chain flow. Our products are produced in both Europe and Asia and we value a collaborative relationship with our suppliers.

We are now looking for a Supply planner to manage the product & fabric flow from our quick response unit based in Eastern Europe. Our fully owned production facility in Tukums, Latvia is the heart of our supply chain operation supporting the central functions with both an excellence center for garment and manufacturing expertise and a flexible production set-up for quick response and customized solutions. Together with the Tukums Team you will be responsible to increase customer satisfaction and flexibility through placing orders on the right products at the right time. We like to see that you take own initiative in solving every-day tasks and with an analytical mindset and the customer in mind solve potential stock issues to mitigate badwill at our customers. We see that you strive in a fast-pace environment and enjoy working proactively to mitigate risk and maximize service and are not afraid to take support cross-functionally to do so.

MAIN TASKS

  • In collaboration with the Planning & Purchasing Team take responsibility for delivering a high level of service to both internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to a transparent and close dialogue with our Tukums Team to ensure fabrics & trims are available to respond to unpredictable demand and/or supply shortages as they occur.
  • Analyze short-term needs and place efficient orders to increase service level to our direct customers.
  • Analyze data and provide proposals for actions when it comes to optimizing fabric stock levels as well as to contribute in the planning or product in- & out-phasing.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of customized offerings to our sales markets.
  • Place, manage and follow-up orders to the Tukums facility from order placement to invoiced and received in our Distribution Center or the actual customer.
  • Support the Planning & Purchasing Team in maintaining high quality master data that affects the outcome of the supply planning and purchasing related processes.
  • Coordinate and collaborate cross functionally to improve processes and deliver defined results.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Academic degree in supply chain or textiles and/or experience from working within planning, manufacturing and/or purchasing.
  • Committed to the task and thorough.
  • By motivation and own initiative challenge yourself to continuous improvement and develop long-term within the company.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and applications.
  • A good communicator in English
  • Experience from working in Relex, SAP or similar system is a plus
