The Factory Sustainable Solution team, part of Business Sector Key Components, Plant Solutions & Channel Management in Processing Equipment AB, is recruiting an Energy Engineer. The position is located in Lund, Sweden.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with ~10 years of experience, possibly including previous managerial responsibilities. You will lead technical development, coach colleagues. The position combines deep technical expertise with strategic influence and customer-facing consultancy

•    Lead the design of complex energy systems (heat transfer, process design, utility integration).
•    Develop best-practice solutions to reduce environmental footprint and utility costs.
•    Conduct advanced energy assessments and develop customized strategies.
•    Prepare and present technical proposals and cost analyses.
•    Act as a coach to team members and Product Managers in FSS.
•    Collaborate with sales and project teams to support order acquisition.
•    Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory standards.
 

•    University degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
•    ~10 years of experience in energy consultancy or engineering.
•    Proven expertise in energy systems, heat recovery, and process optimization.
•    Experience in coaching, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
•    Commercial mindset and ability to support sales discussions.
•    Willingness to travel ~20–30 days/year.
