Head of Group Consolidation

Responsibilities:

In the role as Head of Group Consolidation, you will have overall responsibility for the Group's accounting, financial reports and its processes. The group includes about 10 legal entities that you must independently consolidate, and the work is done in the group reporting system Cognos Controller. In the role, you also have personnel responsibility for an employee. You will work closely with finance functions within the Polarium Group both in Sweden and internationally, as well as with the parent company's finance function. Furthermore, the position is part of the Finance Management Team (FLT) and reports to the CFO. You will be based at Polarium's office on Solnavägen in Hagastaden.

Your main tasks will be:

• Consolidation and quality assurance of the Group's legal monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS)
• Preparation of key figures and reporting
• Annual Report and Interim Reports in accordance with IFRS
• Responsible for tax from a consolidated financial perspective, including transfer-pricing
• System owner for the group reporting system Cognos Controller
• Implement and improve routines, processes and working methods
• Accounting projects at group level
• Regulatory issues
• Support to the subsidiaries in the Group
• Contact with external auditors
• Personnel responsibility

Who are you:

To succeed in the role as Head of Group Consolidation at Polarium, you must be a driven, analytical and goal-oriented person who has a great and deep interest in accounting. You are a good communicator in speech and writing, and a helpful person who thrives in the dialogue with others in the finance function. You thrive in environments where you are given the opportunity to be involved in various accounting projects and are driven by continuing to improve routines, processes and working methods. When it comes to your experience, we see that you have an academic degree in economics and have subsequently worked for several years with group accounting, where you have had overall responsibility. We would also like you to have previous experience of a listed environment.

An academic degree and solid experience of IFRS is a requirement. Knowledge of the Cognos Controller is an advantage, but not a requirement. Since you will have personnel responsibility, it is an advantage if you have previous experience of leadership. You are proficient in English and Swedish in both speech and writing.
