Valtech is looking for a skilled and dynamic Business Developer to join our New Business Development team in the Nordics. Are you passionate about people, business development and technology? A glipse into the life of a Business Developer at Valtech

As a Business Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop, drive, and secure business opportunities for new clients. On a day-to-day basis, you will be the one representing Valtech as a go-to contact in the market, as well as acting as a key internal touchpoint and a role model. Luckily, you will not have to do this all by yourself. Our client partnerships and business development teams, both local and international marketing and demand generation teams and other support operations will support you on the way!

In addition, you will:

  • Support in ensuring that Valtech Nordics is achieving ambitious revenue and meets the set growth targets
  • Proactively approach our target groups, taking the lead, and skilfully driving the dialogue from initial contact through to successful deal closure
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional Valtech Leadership members to secure lucrative opportunities, to analyse trends and results-driven insights to drive the successful acquisition of new business
  • Focus on growing our Commerce business offerings in close collaboration with experts in this area
  • Occasionally travel for pitches and client meetings, primarily across Nordics

You and the role

You are someone with approx. 5-8 years of experience in sales and business development, coming from a digital agency, consultancy, or similar environment. You already have experience in new business development and are strongly interested in developing your skills further in this area. Taking the lead and proactively setting things in motion is something that you feel comfortable doing.

We would love if you have

  • A strong experience within sales/business development with main focus on winning new business
  • A business network within Nordics and experience working with partners to develop opportunities
  • The confidence to take accountability for multi-million-dollar revenue and ensure our business reaches its targets
  • A keen interest in Commerce and a desire to become a sales professional in this area. Any previous experience or knowledge of different commerce platforms, eg. Adobe Commerce, Optimizely, commercetools, Salesforce, Sitecore OrderCloud, is a plus but not a requirement for this role
  • Eagerness to learn and further develop your professional skills while working closely with talented colleagues within Sales and other areas of business

Please note that fluency in both English and Danish (or Swedish) is a strict requirement for this role. Candidates not meeting this requirement will unfortunately not be considered.
