Global Service Purchaser, Normet, full-time

We are looking for you – Global Service Purchaser

At Clevry, we are now looking for a Global Service Purchaser for our client Normet in Iisalmi. This is a full-time, permanent position, and you will be employed directly by Normet. The role will start as soon as possible – no later than the end of September.

This is a hybrid role, but your main workplace will be in Iisalmi. Regular presence in Iisalmi is required.

As a Global Service Purchaser, you will be responsible for different stages of the spare parts supply chain – from purchasing materials and working with suppliers to handling invoices and resolving possible non-conformances. The role includes daily purchasing tasks, monitoring deliveries, and close cooperation with suppliers, the sales team, and internal stakeholders.

While the job includes certain routines, it also involves development projects, such as the implementation of the new ERP system (D365), as well as supplier relationship and process development. You will join an international team of seven purchasers, where English is the working language and team spirit is highly valued. Onboarding is carried out on-site with the support of your manager and colleagues.

What we expect

• A relevant educational background (e.g. business, BBA, engineering)

• Experience in purchasing, logistics, warehouse operations, or technical trade

• Strong understanding of purchasing and supply chains, with a genuine interest in procurement

• Excellent command of English (Finnish is an advantage)

• Good MS Office skills (Excel is required; Power BI and D365 are an advantage)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
