About the role This role is newly created, which means that you will have great influence on setting the direction. You'll be at the forefront of securing next-generation fire protection technology, ensuring our solutions meet the highest security standards while maintaining their effectiveness and reliability. As our systems become increasingly connected and intelligent, your role will be crucial in bridging the gap between traditional fire safety and modern cybersecurity requirements. You'll work with state-of-the-art water mist systems that are integrated into smart building management systems, requiring both security expertise and an understanding of industrial control systems.
Your main responsibilities - Supporting architecture design of fire safety systems to reflect security-related requirements, standards, and guidelines.
- Conducting risk assessments according to industry best practices.
- Supporting Teams in conducting the corresponding security activities during the development process.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of defined measures based on threat and risk analysis.
- Sharing and developing your knowledge and mentoring other team members.
- Proactively cooperating with other teams in a global setup and striving to bring our solutions to the latest level of technology.
We are looking for someone who has - A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience with cybersecurity standards, preferably the IEC 62443 standards family
- Knowledge of network technologies, components & protocols
- Experience with hands-on embedded systems security, but not necessarily programming skills
- Experience with fieldbus protocols, e.g., ModBus, CAN is advantageous
- Experience with tools like Kali Linux, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark is advantageous
