Role Summary

 

This role is part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.

We are looking for a curious and driven Business Analyst to join our Value Creation Team (VCT). You will work with our in-house Product Data Management system (OAS), helping to drive TRATON’s modular product strategy. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a unique PLM solution and collaborate with stakeholders across the TRATON Group. 

Job Responsibilities

 

In this role, you will:

  • Explore and analyze business and customer needs to identify requirements and drive process improvements. 
  • Break down complex requirements and collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, testers, and UX specialists. 
  • Ensure solutions deliver value by aligning with business goals and guiding users through acceptance testing. 
  • Continuously improve ways of working to strengthen the team and domain. 
  • Contribute to strategic TRATON initiatives across Sweden, Germany, the US, China, and Latin America.

Who You Are

 

You enjoy working in a diverse, agile team with a strong customer and user focus. You value collaboration, stay flexible in changing environments, and contribute to a positive atmosphere while delivering continuously.

We believe you will succeed in this role if you:
 

  • Hold a degree in IT, business management, or a related field. 
  • Have 5+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally within Product Data Management or service-related areas. 
  • Are skilled in process and information modelling, and documenting system functionality. 
  • Have experience with product structures, change management, and product description methodologies. 
  • Communicate fluently in English; Swedish and/or German is a plus. 
  • Are eager to learn and adapt to new technical environments, even if you haven’t worked with PLM/PDM systems before.

You will join the Value Creation Team (VCT), a Lean-Agile team inspired by SAFe, with around 100 colleagues including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, and Testers. You’ll work closely with Group R&D Vehicle Service Information and be supported by a dedicated onboarding buddy. Our team values transparency, integrity, flexibility, and empathy.
