Packaging Artworker

Right now, we are looking for an organised and product-obsessed Packaging Artworker to join our fantastic Packaging team. You will work in a production-heavy role and be responsible for creating final packaging artworks for iconic Marshall products.

What you’ll do:

As a part of the Packaging team, you will be collaborating with our internal cross-functional teams, including our different Brand teams, Design, Compliance, and our team in China. You will be supplying final art for all packaging components, making sure that the visual brand equity and packaging construction align aesthetically. This is a great opportunity to work in a global and user-centred business with international stakeholders and production management, while contributing to products loved by many!

Roles & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Managing packaging artwork and user manuals throughout the project lifecycle for multiple projects in parallel.

• Following the provided art directions and ensuring visuals are aligned with the brand, retail, app developers, and other departments.

• Retouching and providing art direction for product angles and lighting of photos or renderings.

• Approving digital proofs, printed samples, and colour ranges (light/dark limits).

• Creating print-ready files to be issued to suppliers and managing communication with printing partners to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery.

• Creating illustrations for user documentation.

• Designing artworks for product graphics, such as ear caps and back plates.

• Supporting product cost-down activities driven by product changes that impact packaging.

Who we’re looking for:

As a Packaging Artworker, you are a great team player with high capacity and an eye for detail. You are confident in your skills and love to share your knowledge. You like to get things done, and you always think one step ahead. You are used to driving projects from start to finish and thrive in a fast-paced, non-traditional creative environment.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  
• Experience working on projects with consumer products and product development.
  
• Experience working with international packaging printers.
  
• Knowledge of packaging materials and printing techniques.
  
• Knowledge of third-party style guides, brand guidelines, and packaging artwork specifications.
  
• Basic knowledge of Rhino 3D is a plus.
