Region Southern Hemisphere currently consists of Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Brazil, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Regional Total Rewards Manager, you will be part of the People Function at Region Southern Hemisphere and will report to Regional HR Manager. You will be responsible for delivering business relevant Total Rewards programs across all countries in the Region. You will be a strategic partner to local business teams, ensuring that rewards practices are aligned with global standards while staying locally relevant. You will oversee compensation, benefits, and mobility programs, making sure they are effective and efficiently implemented and compliant with both global and local requirements. You will manage a team of Total Rewards Specialists

You will:

  • Lead the implementation of the H&M Group Total Rewards strategy across all countries in the region.
  • Drive the rewards agenda as part of the broader HR strategy, ensuring local relevance and global alignment.
  • Ensure fair and competitive compensation and benefits by introducing best practices and harmonized programs.
  • Oversee key compensation processes such as salary reviews, budgeting, and market survey participation.
  • Manage local compensation and benefits operations, including vendor partnerships and global benefit programs.
  • Collaborate with Finance and People leaders on rewards initiatives and act as a strategic partner to local HR teams to address their needs with global or local solutions.
  • Secure compliance with both global policies and country specific requirements for all rewards activities.
  • Advise senior leaders and local HR teams on contract types, compensation, benefits, and mobility solutions aligned with local laws and global standards.
  • Coach Leaders and People Partners on rewards-related matters, ensuring a consistent employee experience across the region.
  • Share market insights and emerging trends with the Central People Organization Lifecycle Rewards team and local People Leaders.
  • Manage and develop the local Total Rewards teams, supporting their engagement, growth, and effective execution of daily operations.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a Regional Total Rewards Manager, you will be part of the Region SHE HR management team and will work in close collaboration with a range of stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of rewards programs and alignment of global and local rewards strategies. You will partner closely with People leaders across the different organizations and business functions in your region to understand local needs and support the implementation of consistent and impactful rewards practices for all colleagues in the region. You will also collaborate with the Regional Management Team to ensure that rewards initiatives support broader regional goals and business priorities. You will be part of the Global Rewards Community and actively engage with peer Regional Total Rewards Managers and rewards professionals from our Central People Organization Rewards Lifecycle group.

We are looking for people with…

  • Proven knowledge in compensation analysis, market data, policy development, and rewards program design.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to structure and lead projects.
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to translate business context into effective Total Rewards actions.
  • Hands-on experience with people management software, core HR master data systems, and HR tech tools.
  • Experience as a formal or informal leader, ideally within a multidisciplinary Total Rewards function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A university degree (Bachelor’s minimum).
  • 10+ years of experience working with compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, benefits, and mobility.

This is a full-time role based on a local contract in Stockholm, Sweden. The Regional Total Rewards Manager is part of the HR team and reports to the Regional HR Manager.
