International Project Manager - Drive the Solar Carport Transition with Solnet! 

As an International Project Manager specializing in solar carport installations, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale solar infrastructure projects across Europe. You’ll be at the forefront of smart energy solutions, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality carport systems on time, on budget, and in line with local regulations and safety standards. 

Our projects typically include 2-5 MW rooftop systems, solar carports, EV charging hubs, and battery storage solutions - designed for global brands, logistics operators, and retail networks. 

📍 Location: Frankfurt, Germany (hybrid) 

Your Tasks Will Include 

• Leading end-to-end delivery of solar carport projects across various markets 
• Conducting kickoff meetings, creating schedules, and managing resource allocation 
• Coordinating internal teams, contractors, and equipment suppliers 
• Managing construction milestones, resolving delays, and overseeing quality control 
• Handling permitting, grid interconnection, and site-specific compliance 
• Budget tracking and stakeholder reporting 
• Ensuring all safety and regulatory standards are met 
• Conducting site visits during planning, execution, and handover phases 

What We Are Looking For 

• 5+ years of project management experience in solar energy or infrastructure 
• Strong track record in solar carport design, construction, and delivery 
• Solid understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and utility regulations 
• Familiarity with PV system components and integration with grid and energy storage 
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Asana, Jira) 
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills 
• Comfortable working across borders and time zones 
• Fluent in English (required); German is a strong plus 
• Willingness to travel within Europe
