Job Summary
Do you want to be part and impact a central part of Tetra Pak’s quality and sustainability initiatives? Do you want to be part of the journey to develop Tetra Pak packaging material and packages for the future?
We are now looking for a Test Method Owner of material and packaging material to strengthen the Physical Modelling team in D&T Materials & Package organisation. The position is permanent and based in Lund, Sweden.
What you will doAs Test Method Owner you will be the specification owner of test methods used for knowledge building and quality control related to materials and packaging materials, for development and production.
You will lead the end-to-end test method development and be involved in all phases of test method development, from very early phases to test method issues related to customers.
You will be responsible for:
• Decide on approval of new test methods and test method updates
• Lead life cycle management of test methods in collaboration with labs
• Participate in the translation of stakeholder needs and requirements vs what/how to measure
• Lead requirement setting on test methods vs stakeholder needs
• Lead identification of gaps in existing test methods
• Continuously improve way of working and ensure proper procedures are in place for test method area
To be successful in this position you have at least five years of experience of hands-on test method development in packaging material, strips and/or materials, as well as a solid understanding of packaging material converting process and packaging material development.
You have a Master of Science/Engineering within material science, physics, chemical, or similar. You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
We are looking for an open person that actively shares and seeks knowledge with/from others. You know the importance of building cross-functional relationships with stakeholders, and you have good communication skills and a holistic view. You are not afraid to speak your mind or disapprove test methods that are not living up to its requirements. You have an eye for details, at the same time a drive for result and push yourself and others to meet deadlines.
