We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their agile team and help shape the future of Zalando’s B2B logistics unit, ZEOS Logistics. Zalandos mission is to create seamless fulfillment solutions that enabling partners to grow and scale efficiently.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and agile team designing and implementing technical solutions that connect various e-commerce platforms with Zalandos logistics ecosystem. Your work will ensure smooth operational processes such as warehousing, inventory management, distribution, deliveries, and returns across multiple platforms. You will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies, shape architecture, and influence the technical direction of their services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software solutions that directly impact e-commerce fulfillment operations.
• Develop APIs and integrate solutions to ensure seamless connections between e-commerce platforms and logistics services.
• Take ownership of the entire development cycle—from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Work in a microservices-based environment and operate large-scale applications on AWS.
• Utilize your expertise in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot to build high-performing solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, fostering innovation and best practices.
• Contribute to the development of frontend components using technologies such as JavaScript (ES6), React, and TypeScript.
• Ensure security best practices and optimize cloud-based infrastructures.
• Drive a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  

We are looking for someone who has:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture, REST services, and API design.
• Experience deploying and operating applications in a cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
• Some experience with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, Webpack, and HTML/CSS.
• Strong database knowledge, particularly with PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with event-driven architectures and tools like Apache Kafka.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ownership mindset.
• Previous experience integrating third-party services or developing middleware solutions.
• Experience in Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Scope: Full-time position (100%)

Location: Stockholm.
