The Derivatives Sales team is part of the Fixed Income unit within FICC Markets, one of the largest business areas within SEB's Corporate and Investment Banking division. Our main purpose is to provide access to financial markets for corporate and institutional clients, as well as service the Mid Corporate and SME clients within the C&PC division.
Our area of expertise is advising clients on their interest rate and long-term FX exposures related to liability management and hedge structuring. Our team consists of 13 derivatives sales specialists globally, with 6 based in Stockholm.
About the Role:
As a Fixed Income Derivatives Sales, you will directly service SEB's clients in close collaboration with trading, client coverage, the investment bank, and other sales teams across our geographies to deliver tailored solutions. Your purpose will be to help a wide range of clients manage their interest rate and currency risks related to financing or placements using interest rate derivatives such as interest rate swaps, options, and cross-currency swaps.
The work is diverse, requiring you to be responsive to both short-term and long-term client needs. You will be attentive to clients needs in market turmoil, as well as advising in larger and more complex transactions whilst building long-term relationships. The team you will be a part of is close-knit and strives to achieve the highest customer satisfaction and successful deals for our clients and SEB in an increasingly challenging macro environment.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
· A strong academic degree from a university or business school
· Relevant product knowledge in Fixed Income
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
· Proficiency in English & Swedish, both written and spoken, is crucial
The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, well-structured, and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic. You should be a social and outgoing individual who enjoys building relationships and has a genuine interest in networking. Additionally, you should be responsible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where taking initiative is key.
