We are now looking for a relationship driven salesperson to join Commodity Sales team within FICC Sweden.

Commodity Sales Sweden consists of 4 sales professionals and is part of SEB’s Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division. We offer Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodity solutions to SEB’s corporate clients—from SMEs to the largest corporates and institutions. SEB Markets is one of the leading franchises in the Nordic region, providing innovative and trusted access to global financial markets.

About the role

As part of our Commodity Sales team, you’ll be advising Swedish corporate clients on managing their Commodity exposures—ranging from risk assessment and hedging strategies to tailored market insights. You’ll work closely with both clients and internal stakeholders such as Trading, Coverage and Research to deliver value-added solutions. From an early stage, you’ll take an active role in client-facing activities, including pricing/execution as as well as building business cases.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Executing and pricing various commodity transactions.

· Follow commodity markets closely and stay up to date on recent developments.

· Supporting senior sales staff with client pitches and participating in client meetings.

· Proactively work on prospecting for new potential clients.

· Analyzing customers commodity risk exposures and advice on hedging strategies.

· Maintaining and develop risk advisory tools and models (Excel and Python).

We are looking for an outgoing person who is eager to learn the sales process and can contribute with proactiveness, advisory, and quantitative skills.

You have a university degree, a genuine interest in commodities and an inner drive to learn and excel in one of finance's most interesting business areas. The position requires that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.

We believe it will be in your favour to have an outgoing personality, an analytical skill-set, focused way of working and enjoying collaboration in a fast-paced working environment. A "can-do" attitude is a must!
