Role Summary 
The role as Credit Risk Management Specialist within TRATON Financial Services (TFS) is a senior role, primarily focused on the non-quantitative methods of managing credit risk within the group. The role has a broad set of responsibilities for the business- and process-related aspects of credit risk management. The role will be involved in shaping the governance of credit risk across the group as well as to contribute with credit risk competence into business development projects and strategic initiatives. You will work both cross-functionally and internationally towards senior stakeholders within different business areas. The role reports to the Head of Credit Risk and Asset Management and is part of the Credit Risk and Asset Management department at the TFS head-office in Södertälje.


Job Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain the TFS Credit Risk Policy and other credit risk steering documents. Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements regarding credit risk management.
  • Participate in establishing credit risk appetites and corresponding key risk indicators as well as the development and maintenance of the internal control system for credit risk.
  • Responsible for the underwriting process for large credit exposures, arrange credit committee meetings and act as the deputy to the TFS Credit Risk and Asset Manager.
  • Provide credit risk competence into development projects, strategic initiatives and product development efforts.
  • Participate in the development of tools and methods for analysis, reporting and follow-up of the credit risk performance of TFS’ global credit portfolio. Prepare presentation material for credit committees, management and board meetings.


Who You Are
We are looking for a candidate with the following experiences and competences:

  • Several years of experience from credit risk management within a captive financing organization, finance company or bank. Experience from truck captive financing is meriting but not a formal requirement.
  • Broad experience of credit risk management, within areas such as governance, reporting as well as process and business development. Experience of quantitative credit risk management is not a requirement for this position.
  • Analytical capability, integrity and interpersonal skills are desired personal attributes. Previous experience of management positions or international experience is meriting but not a formal requirement.
  • Academic degree corresponding to university level within areas such as business, economics or engineering.
  • Full fluency in English. A second major European language is meriting but not a formal requirement.

 

This Is Us 
The Credit Risk and Asset Management department at TFS currently consists of the Credit Risk and Asset Manager and four experienced employees primarily focused on the quantitative aspects of credit risk management; a Senior Credit Risk Model Expert, two Senior Quantitative Analysts and a Business Controller for Credit Risk.
