Senior Director - Head of Logistics - Sweden

We are looking for a senior leader for the key role as Logistics Sweden Market Head. Your primary focus will be  to ensure cost-competitiveness while driving value adding logistics service and a strong safety culture. Additionally, you will spearhead sustainability and digitalisation initiatives within the market.

How you will make an impact 

In your role you will report to Senior Vice President, Sweden and Finland Supply Chain and be a crucial part of the Country Supply Chain Leadership Team, along with strong interactions with Commercial and Member Relations. Together with your team in Sweden Logistics, you will be responsible for:

• Building the logistics organisation that drives safety, service, quality and cost end-to-end in the Arla value chain from farm to customer.
• Secure cost-competitiveness and build your organisation to deliver excellent quality and service levels towards both internal and external customers. You will drive shared KPIs and ensure good communication with the commercial organisation in the Swedish and global Supply Chain organization.
• Setting direction, implementing and anchoring on new solutions across Sweden Logistics to enable delivery on sustainability, digital and efficiency agendas.
• Have a strong focus on strengthening both leadership and logistics capabilities in your team as well as a focus on driving best practices and continuous improvements in customer service, warehousing and transport.

What will make you successful 

You have a strong expertise and track record as a senior leader in logistics or broader Supply Chain, who can drive a step change in performance across a complex supply chain. You will do this by building on your deep functional expertise in logistics, including knowledge and experience developing transportation and warehousing functions for an international organisation.

You are a senior leader who manages to combine an analytical approach and a strategic perspective with decisive actions . Furthermore, you possess a strong ability to lead from the front while being a team player with real operational credibility willing to roll up your sleeves. You have a clear history of establishing credibility across the organisation through engagement to ensure the most effective logistics solutions, and their alignment with overall business strategies.

In this role you will be dealing with a number of stakeholders and it is essential that you have an ability to unite and inspire your organisation around a shared agenda through influencing and strong communication skills and you will use your excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to interact with other departments, employees, and outside vendors and carriers.

You are known for creating results through others, relying on your outstanding skills for setting direction and motivating and inspiring colleagues.
