Role Summary

As Unit Manager within CAD/vPDM VCT, you will be at the heart of our transformation toward modularized and fully digital product development across TRATON.

 

Your Responsibilities

As Unit Manager for CAD/vPDM, you will lead your teams in driving the digital transformation of product development within the TRATON Group. You will play a central role in creating structure, alignment, and momentum across global initiatives and stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting teams working with CAD/vPDM development within a cross-functional setup
• Driving change toward a modular and digital product development process
• Building trust and collaboration across the value stream and with external stakeholders
• Contributing to strategic initiatives such as:
• Transforming the existing CAD/vPDM platform into a modern digital ecosystem
• Integrating TRATON Group brands into a common way of working
• Setting up processes and IT solutions to support the business in China
• Collaborating across TRATON Group R&D and global stakeholders to align and deliver value
• Fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture that supports personal growth and teamwork

 

Who You Are

You bring:

• Proven leadership in engineering, IT, or digital transformation
• Experience with CAD/vPDM software and platforms (e.g., CATIA, Enovia, 3DEXPERIENCE)
• Knowledge of MBD, PMI, and digital manufacturing
• Understanding of modularization principles
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish (German is a plus)
• A degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, product development)
