Technical Project Manager

About the job

NOBA Bank is on an exciting journey, and we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team - someone eager to be part of a company where IT plays a central role in driving business success.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our development, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, leading improvement initiatives and projects, and delivering IT services that support business growth. The role spans three main areas of responsibility: IT Operations Excellence, IT Project Management, and Service Delivery Management for our Digital Workplace.

Our offer to you:

At NOBA, you’ll join a fast-moving environment where your work makes a real impact. We offer:

  • A dynamic workplace where IT is a strategic enabler, not just support.
  • An inclusive, collaborative culture where ideas and improvements are welcomed.
  • Opportunities to grow in your role through development initiatives, new responsibilities, and exposure to various parts of the business.
  • A hybrid work model with flexibility, and modern tools to support both collaboration and focused work.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, within a company driven by strong values and a clear growth vision.

About the role:

In this position, you’ll be part of the IT Operations function within Product & Tech, working alongside a team of 20 colleagues. Based in Stockholm, you’ll report directly to the Head of IT Operations and collaborate broadly across the organization, primarily within Product & Tech but also with other business areas across NOBA. Your areas of responsibility include:

IT Operations Excellence

  • Support the Head of IT Operations with budgeting and performance reporting (SLA, KPI, KRI).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and track progress toward operational goals.
  • Prepare reports and propose enhancements to improve service delivery.
  • Take on diverse assignments within IT Operations and drive them independently.

Project Management

  • Lead and deliver IT Operations projects - from planning to handover - on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage documentation, monitor progress, and maintain clear communication across departments.

Service Delivery – IT Digital Workplace

  • Ensure a secure, user-friendly, and modern digital workplace (hardware, software, M365, accessories).
  • Manage service roadmaps and oversee the lifecycle of tools and solutions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and keep the service catalogue up to date.
  • Support incident management and coordinate the rollout of new features or tools.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Have some years of hands-on experience in IT support, IT operations, or infrastructure.
  • Has worked as a technical IT project or sub-project manager in both small and large-scale projects, ideally within financial services.
  • Is a collaborative team player who enjoys working with project owners, steering groups, core operations, and IT specialists.
  • Thrives in a role with both operational and administrative responsibilities and can manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Is fluent in Swedish or Norwegian, and English.

This role is a great fit if you’ve built a solid foundation in IT and project management and are ready to take the next step. You have a proactive, customer-focused mindset and enjoy solving problems and driving improvements. If you’re eager to learn, take ownership, and help us continuously evolve - we’d love to hear from you!

Practical information:

Form of employment: Permanent (we apply 6 month probation period)
Working hours: 8.30-17
