We are looking for an experienced Accounting Leader to our Finance team in IKEA Industry. The accounting leader is a key-role to our finance team where you will be a part of a team-oriented workplace with diverse tasksin an international environment.

To thrive at IKEA Industry you have a desire to create simplicity through structure and achieve results through the organisation. You have a strong interest in working with digital tools and developing modern, digital processes.

You will work in close connection with  a large international network of people with different backgrounds and skill sets.


Job description

• Ensure that business transactions are timely and accurately recorded and maintained
• Lead and develop business together in the Accounting organization to secure cost-efficient transactions processing with a high degree of control and efficient financial planning process.
• Ensure financial closings and continuously assess and improve the closing and reporting process, including managing communication with external auditors on financial reporting and accounting topics
• Ensuring compliance with local accounting legislation (K3) and practise including timely identification and compliance with new accounting guidelines, income tax and VAT regulations and Inter IKEA Group guidelines and requirements
• Implement and maintain accounting and reporting procedures to ensure compliance with internal control requirements
• Represent Accounting and contribute with technical and accounting expertise in steering groups, projects, reference groups and focus groups as requested

Qualification


To be successful in the position you need to have proven experience of collaboration with many stakeholders, preferably in an international environment.  You are clear and inspiring communicator and maintain an overview in sometimes hectic working environment.

We believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation:

• Share and live the IKEA values every day
• A university degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• Experience from work within Finance in an international company, preferably Industry or similar as auditor
• High general understanding of IT systems and an interest in working with digital tools
