  • In Core Business Range, we have put in the next gear of moving IKEA and making us better together. We have decided that we will focus, simplify and concentrate going forward by placing the product in the center – with a full focus on the core of our assignments.  

    We are now looking for a Range Identity Leader with strong identity skills and a creative mind to join our team in Range Strategy & Identity.   

    In the Range strategy and Identity function within Core Business Range, we have the task to define, lead, and develop the Range & Communication strategy and set the direction for the Range and Product identity for our future range offer, to enable growth, positioning and to secure the IKEA business idea to come alive.   

    As a Range Identity Leader your main responsibility is to support range and product development through leading and developing creative range directions and concepts – for example, future launches, IKEA collections, home furnishing coordination’s, and style expressions which will strengthen the IKEA home furnishing offer and our range and product identity. It will serve as the common point of entry for range, product and communication development and make us better together working with a common starting point.  

    You are expected to contribute to the totality of our assignment that today consists of IKEA style expressions, CMFs (colour, material and finishes) and patterns, materials and expressions portfolio, as well as IKEA collections. You will work across the whole organisation, both within our teams in Range Strategy & Identity as well as supporting our different Range Areas. 

    In this role you will report to Anna Granath, Range Identity Manager. You will be a dedicated ambassador and speaker for the IKEA Range Identity to continuously nurture creativity, inspire and support our many home furnishing businesses.  

    To be successful in this role we believe that the following prerequisites are important: 

    • Strong ability to spearhead new ideas and creative concepts that will strengthen the IKEA brand and make a positive impact in people’s life at home, society, and the world 
    • A creative mindset, which inspires people to think outside the box, dream big and constantly challenge us into the future 
    • Experience in creating creative directions, alignment, and commitment across organisations  
    • Ability to lead creative processes from end to end and foster curiosity throughout 
    • Deep knowledge about the IKEA vision; IKEA identity, Home Furnishing Identity, Democratic Design, IKEA styles, materials, expressions, and IKEAs long-term priorities 
    • Deep knowledge and passion for all aspects of design, product development and range/collection building  
    • Deep knowledge, curiosity and passion about life at home, customer needs, societal trends and movements 
    • Strong ability and proven experience to build a relevant, complete, coordinated, and commercial product range 
    • An excellent communicator with a strong ability to lead and inspire 

    This is a full-time permanent role based in Älmhult, Sweden. The Range Identity Leader is crucial for developing our business, and we believe that your presence with the team, and working the majority of the time in the workplace, is important.
