Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge Android-based automotive infotainment systems. Collaborating with a leading European car manufacturer, you will play a pivotal role in adapting and enhancing the Android Platform to meet the unique requirements of premium automotive hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement features for Android Platforms in automotive infotainment systems, adhering to project requirements and guidelines.
• Conduct system analysis, software issue troubleshooting, root cause identification, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers to ensure seamless software integration and delivery.
• Adapt existing software to meet specific customer needs while addressing performance and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and verification reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with Android Embedded Systems (AOSP, VHAL, AIDL) and/or Linux development is preferred.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum.
• Competency in DevOps tools for Android development (e.g., Android Studio, Docker, Git, Gerrit).
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, CAN networks, and microcontrollers is highly meritorious.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Meritorious:

• Experience with Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Awareness of automotive safety and quality standards, such as SPICE.
• Familiarity with network protocols and peripheral handling (UART, SPI, I2C, USB).
