About the role:

We are seeking an Accountant for our Countries accounting II Unit. Our unit is responsible for several branches of the bank and different subsidiaries. You will play a key role for SEB Asset management company accounting, you will work closely with multiple levels within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organization.

As an Accountant you will be responsible for:

Flawless execution of Records-to-Report transactional activities
Month-end closing procedures and bookkeeping tasks
Follow processing and reporting deadlines
G/L accounts reconciliation
Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders
Work together with the team on continuous process improvements
Follow Internal Controls of Financial and Reporting framework

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Over 1 year of combined experience in accounting and finance
Proficiency in English
Ability to work in a team and independently
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
Ability to multi-task, effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
A degree in Finance area is an advantage
Experience working with IFRS and local standards is an advantage
