Solar Engineer – Join the Clean Energy Revolution with Solnet! 🌞

📍 Location: Frankfurt (Hybrid work model)

Your Role

🔹 Plan & design – Create system layouts and electrical designs from the sales phase through project execution

🔹 Forecast & optimize – Perform solar power yield forecasts and installation planning

🔹 Collaborate & innovate – Work closely with customers, engineers, and project teams to develop tailored solutions

🔹 Be hands-on – Conduct occasional site visits to ensure high-quality execution

🔹 Communicate & lead – Interact with clients and external stakeholders to guarantee smooth project delivery

 

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Technical background – Degree in Electrical Engineering

✔️ Work experience – Experience in electrical design, preferably in the solar sector

✔️ Software skills – Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar electrical design tools

✔️ Problem-solving mindset – Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to challenges

✔️ Team player – Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment

✔️ Language skills – Fluent English and strong preference in fluent German

✔️ Willingness to travel – Occasional site visits within Germany & across Europe

 

Additional desired skills

➕ Knowledge of Solar AC/DC designs

➕ Understanding of large-scale solar power plants, roof and ground mounts

➕ Experience with medium-voltage electrical design

➕ Hands-on experience in electrical installation & maintenance

➕ Experience with German network operator requirements
