About the Role
As Chief Delivery Office, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of our onsite solar energy projects for the C&I sector across Europe. As a key member of the Solnet management team, you will lead a high-performing project delivery organization, ensuring that installations and maintenance services are executed on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep operational expertise, someone who thrives in complex project environments and has a proven track record in managing large-scale solar or infrastructure projects. You can be based in Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Helsinki.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the delivery strategy to ensure alignment with the company’s growth objectives and sustainability goals.
Project Execution: Oversee the planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of all solar energy projects.
Maintenance Operations: Develop and lead life-cycle services, including a maintenance portfolio to support our installed projects.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing delivery team, including project managers, engineers, procurement specialists, and site supervisors.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, corporate clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution and satisfaction.
Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to maintain high standards in design, construction, and operation.
Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.
Innovation & Technology: Stay updated on the latest solar energy technologies and incorporate them into projects to maximize performance and customer return of investment.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of project management, subcontractor management, and engineering processes.
Soft Skills:
Language skills: Fluent English; German, Finnish or Dutch are considered a plus.
